Second, why move into a 55+ community?
Have you ever wondered if now is the right time to make a move into a 55+ community like The Parkwood? Well, I can tell you this: In all my years of working in senior living, the most common thing I hear from new residents is “I wish I had made this move sooner.” Each month, I am going to try and highlight a few of the reasons that I hear people say this.
For this month, it’s about safety and security. In our community at The Parkwood, we will have secure entries and only those that have keys can come into our building. Visitors can come and visit you at the front entrance through a controlled access system that is connected to your telephone. Security cameras will be strategically placed around the building and in the garage to make sure that your home at The Parkwood remains safe and secure. We will have people that monitor these cameras, and if something suspicious comes up, we will also take necessary steps to remedy the concerns. We will continually strive to make sure that you feel safe in your home at The Parkwood.
Third, what’s happening with construction this month?
A lot. As you can see from the outside, the beautiful EIFS siding is being completed on each of our wings. On the inside, lots of apartments are being drywalled. Painting has officially started in some places, too. Heaters are being installed in the garages. Electrical is being routed to the main boxes in the under-building parking. Lots of sewer work is happening this month. We are making great progress!
Fourth, moving assistance is now available with Moving Station
We realize making a transition to a new home like The Parkwood is difficult because of all the things you must think about — downsizing, picking a realtor, picking a moving company and deciding what to keep and what to donate. All of these are hard decisions. That’s why one of the awesome benefits of being part of The Parkwood Founders Club is that you get paired with a relocation manager to help you with all these things, making your move easier and less stressful — trusted friend and advisor!
