We’re thrilled to introduce Michael Feltes as the newest member of the Parkwood Family. Michael was recently hired as the Executive Director of The Parkwood and is a wonderful addition to our team. We can’t wait to see what great things he will bring to our future residents. Learn more about him below:
A seasoned senior living and healthcare professional with more than ten years in the industry, Michael Feltes has spent the last six years in the Sioux Falls area. He is a well-respected leader whose focus is to provide excellent service to the senior residents he has the privilege to work with.
Michael values the opportunities he’s had to build environments where older adults can live purposeful and meaningful lives. He also really enjoys creating support systems for families in transition and is always looking for ways to improve and adapt his approach.
Michael feels that a big part of his purpose in life is to help seniors feel loved, cared for and supported in the communities they’re a part of. He strives to help them improve their emotional, intellectual, physical, professional, social and spiritual well-being every day.
When he’s not at work, Michael enjoys participating in the local community with his family, friends, and church. He feels blessed to be supported by his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children, Gwendolyn, Johnathan, and Vivian.
